Going Bananas
Going Bananas is the action-packed primary school age ministry at Great Harwood Christian Fellowship! Held every Tuesday from 6:00pm to 7:30pm at GHCF, it is a brilliant evening full of fun, games, laughter, friendships, and Bible learning. Children can enjoy an exciting time together in a warm and welcoming setting while discovering amazing truths from God’s Word in a way that is engaging and memorable. Going Bananas is a great place for children to have fun, make friends, and learn about the Lord Jesus Christ.
ladies coffee morning
Ladies Coffee Morning is a warm and welcoming time of friendship and fellowship for women, meeting every Monday morning at 10:30am at Otto Café in Great Harwood. It is a lovely opportunity for ladies to get together and chat about life, Christ, and everything else ladies enjoy nattering about in a relaxed and friendly setting. Whether you are looking to make new friends, enjoy good conversation, or simply take a little time out, do come and join us for a cup of coffee or tea — and a piece of cake if you fancy it!
Sunday School
GHCF Sunday School takes place during our Sunday morning service at 10:30am and is a vital part of the life of Great Harwood Christian Fellowship. We believe that children need to be taught the Word of God faithfully and clearly, so that they may come to know that the Lord loves, cares for, and calls sinners to Himself through Jesus Christ. As the next generation of the church, children are a precious stewardship from God, and we are committed to teaching them through biblically structured lessons that help them grow in their understanding of the grace, mercy, and truth of Christ.

Young adults
Our Young Adults group is for those aged 18–35 seeking meaningful friendships within a Christ-centred community. Meeting once a month, usually on the first weekend, we gather for relaxed activities like meals, bowling, or walks, creating space for genuine connection beyond Sundays. Rooted in our convictions as a church grounded in the 1689 London Baptist Confession, the group aims to encourage one another in the faith while providing a warm, low-pressure environment where those who don’t yet know the Lord can experience authentic Christian community and build lasting friendships.

EPIC! at Great Harwood Christian Fellowship is an exciting Friday night youth ministry for secondary school aged young people, packed with fun, friendship, games, and Bible teaching! Join us every Friday from 7:30pm to 9:00pm at GHCF for a lively and welcoming evening where young people can relax, enjoy time together, build friendships, and explore the truth of God’s Word in a clear, engaging, and memorable way, while hearing about the Lord Jesus Christ.
equipping the saints
Equipping the Saints at Great Harwood Christian Fellowship is a warm and informal Bible study designed for those who want to grow deeper in their knowledge of Christ and the Scriptures. Meeting alternately on Tuesday mornings and Wednesday mornings from 11:00am, this is a rich time of teaching, discussion, and fellowship as we explore God’s Word together and consider precious truths such as union with Christ. It is an ideal setting for anyone who wants to learn more, ask questions, and be strengthened in the faith — with the added blessing of enjoying a cup of tea or coffee afterwards.
soul food open air evangelism
Soul Food Open Air Evangelism at Great Harwood Christian Fellowship is a bold and compassionate gospel outreach in the public square of Great Harwood on the second Saturday of every month. Gathering outside our church on Commercial Road, facing the bus stop, we preach God’s Word and seek to share the love, hope, and saving grace of Jesus Christ with all who pass by. In a world filled with confusion, sorrow, and false hope, we aim to point people to the true hope found in Christ alone.
